ABOUT HUCK FINN Bluegrass Music Festival JUBILEE – June 12 thru 14, 2015
Established in 1975 at the hands of a homegrown, Southern California family, the Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival is a three-day gathering of true bluegrass and jamgrass music lovers. It is a genuine embodiment of endless pickin’ parties, instrumental roots education, and bands performing to fans that believe in the core value that bluegrass is about more than just the music. It is a community- one that delivers the nostalgia of music-driven campgrounds, bare feet, laughter, dancing, instrument exploration, and the development of new friendships. Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass Music Festival, produced by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, supports the cross-pollination and belief in the evolution of this music. This unique festival showcases an array of musicians spanning across local, regional, and national Grammy nominated and award-winning bands alike. Huck Finn is dedicated in delivering exceptional headlining musicians as well as up and coming talent who will continue to fight for the deep-bedded roots of bluegrass while creating sounds for the future. ABOUT THE ROUTE 66 CRUISIN’ REUNION® – September 18 thru 20, 2015
The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion®, is the Southern California ultimate weekend celebration of America’s love affair with the automobile! Known as the Main Street of America or The Mother Road, world-famous highway, Route 66 from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica California was established in 1926. In celebration The Route ’66 Cruisin’ Reunion embraces three days of cruising, contests, live entertainment, fabulous food and revelry making it one of the nation’s most extended long-playing events of its kind. Held annually on the third weekend of September along the historic, tree-shaded Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California, the route is over two miles. Created by the 501(c)3 Route 66 Reunion, organized by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, this annual event draws thousands of visitors and classic car enthusiasts to the area. The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion is where thousands of people gather to enjoy classic cruisers, convertibles, hot rods, and wicked Woodies fuel a jam-packed weekend of fun.
About Christmas on Euclid – Opening Weekend December 4 thru 5, 2015
Families are delighted each year with the start of The Christmas on Euclid Experience in Ontario, California. Each December the holiday season is kicked off on the first weekend of the month with a magical two-day festival, featuring a tree-lighting ceremony, carolers and movies in the park on Friday. Then a holiday market, craft fair, snow play and ice skating, a Christmas tree farm, live performances and a visit from St. Nick on Saturday.
The Christmas on Euclid Experience, produced by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been a tradition for thousands of visitors each year since 1922. Ontario’s historic Euclid Avenue is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland with block upon block of family activities including the community’s iconic Nativity scenes.
