Art Carter is Chief Executive Officer of Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service, Incorporated. He has served as CEO since August, 2005. The MRMLS is one of the nation’s largest Multiple Listing Services with over 32,000 subscribers from 12 REALTOR® Associations. The MRMLS serves the San Gabriel Valley, the Inland Empire and portions of Los Angeles County, and its service area covers a population of well over 3 Million people. The Service processes over 100,000 listings and 50,000 sales annually.
Art has been instrumental in leading the data share revolution in Southern California, serving as the chair of the California Real Estate Technology Services (CARETS) Steering Committee since its inception in 2006 through its incorporation in February of 2008. CARETS has changed the face of transacting real estate in Southern California by giving Brokers and Agents access to a deeper set of information through the areas MLS’s participation in the CARETS aggregated database.
